Esta patolog\u00eda se manifiesta de manera repentina, presentando aves muertas y evidenci\u00e1ndose la aparici\u00f3n de excreciones l\u00edquidas de olor desagradable. Se trata de una afecci\u00f3n aguda que ocasiona una devastadora destrucci\u00f3n en la mucosa intestinal.<\/p><p>El agente etiol\u00f3gico responsable de esta enfermedad es el <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>Clostridium perfringens<\/em><\/span>, una bacteria en forma de bast\u00f3n que tiene la capacidad de formar esporas. Las aves que sufren un fuerte impacto por esta condici\u00f3n suelen mostrarse muy deca\u00eddas, dejando de alimentarse y de hidratarse, y presentando un semblante marcadamente somnoliento.<\/p><p>En algunas ocasiones, pueden exhibir par\u00e1lisis fl\u00e1cida y palidez intensa en la cresta y en las barbillas.<\/p><p>En los pollitos se han observado signos de par\u00e1lisis e incluso movimientos de temblor, que podr\u00edan confundir el diagn\u00f3stico.<\/p><p>Las formas subagudas se caracterizan por un incremento en la sed y la presencia de una cloaca h\u00fameda.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-family: inherit; font-size: 24px; font-weight: bold;\">Etiolog\u00eda:<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"cc-m-5767605311\" class=\"j-module n j-text \"><p>La enteritis necr\u00f3tica ha sido vinculada con los tipos A y C del Clostridium perfringens. Esta enfermedad es m\u00e1s com\u00fan en ejemplares que habitan en instalaciones donde se utilizan camas de paja.<\/p><p>Es probable que la enterotoxemia solo se presente en el contexto de una alteraci\u00f3n significativa de la microflora bacteriana intestinal.<\/p><p>Dichas alteraciones pueden ser ocasionadas por cambios en el contenido intestinal provocados por variaciones en la calidad o en la cantidad del alimento consumido, una disminuci\u00f3n en la motilidad intestinal, da\u00f1os en la mucosa intestinal causados por microorganismos pat\u00f3genos (como la enteritis hemorr\u00e1gica en pavos, salmonelas o larvas de asc\u00e1ridos) o por toxinas.<\/p><p>Estos cambios pueden facilitar la colonizaci\u00f3n por clostridios y la consiguiente producci\u00f3n inmediata de toxinas. La enteritis necr\u00f3tica ha sido reproducida en condiciones experimentales mediante la administraci\u00f3n directa en el duodeno de un elevado n\u00famero de c\u00e9lulas de clostridios y toxina preformada.<\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Lesiones y diagn\u00f3stico:<\/span><\/h3><p>Las aves infectadas muestran s\u00edntomas de depresi\u00f3n y pueden sufrir de diarrea. La aparici\u00f3n de los s\u00edntomas cl\u00ednicos es r\u00e1pida y la muerte puede ocurrir en cuesti\u00f3n de horas.<\/p><p>La regi\u00f3n del pecho presenta una apariencia deshidratada y oscura, mientras que el h\u00edgado generalmente se halla inflamado y congestionado.<\/p><p>El intestino delgado adopta una forma globosa y es quebradizo, conteniendo un l\u00edquido de color pardo y de olor fuerte.<\/p><p>La mucosa intestinal est\u00e1 cubierta por una capa dift\u00e9rica de color pardo.<\/p><p>La enfermedad puede persistir en la poblaci\u00f3n afectada entre 5 y 10 d\u00edas, con tasas de mortalidad que var\u00edan del 2 al 50 por ciento.<\/p><p>La identificaci\u00f3n de un alto n\u00famero de bacilos cortos, gruesos y grampositivos observables en un frotis te\u00f1ido, elaborado a partir de raspados de la mucosa, facilita el establecimiento de un diagn\u00f3stico preliminar.<\/p><p>Las observaciones histol\u00f3gicas incluyen necrosis por coagulaci\u00f3n en un tercio o en la mitad del grosor de la mucosa, acompa\u00f1ada de aglomerados de bacilos cortos y gruesos en los restos fibronecr\u00f3ticos. Es posible aislar el Clostridium perfringens del contenido intestinal a trav\u00e9s de cultivos o t\u00e9cnicas anaerobias.<\/p><p>Las lesiones causadas por Eimeria brunetti pueden asemejarse a las observadas en la enteritis necr\u00f3tica; sin embargo, la coccidiosis no complicada raramente presenta una naturaleza tan aguda o severa.<br \/>La enteritis ulcerativa puede presentarse cl\u00ednicamente de manera similar a la enteritis necr\u00f3tica. No obstante, las lesiones intestinales suelen ser localizadas, afectando principalmente al \u00edleon, ciego y recto, y a menudo se observan lesiones necr\u00f3ticas en el h\u00edgado.<\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Tratamiento y control:<\/span><\/h3><p>Para minimizar el riesgo de enteritis necr\u00f3tica, es crucial implementar un control sanitario riguroso y realizar esfuerzos orientados a prevenir la coccidiosis, la salmonelosis y otras infecciones intestinales.<\/p><p>Es fundamental evitar modificaciones abruptas en la alimentaci\u00f3n y supervisar tanto los alimentos como el agua en busca de contaminantes que puedan afectar la motilidad intestinal o perjudicar la mucosa.<\/p><p>El disalicilato de metileno de bacitracina resulta efectivo en la prevenci\u00f3n y tratamiento de la enteritis necr\u00f3tica.<\/p><p>Las dosis preventivas recomendadas son de 50 g por tonelada (55 ppm) en los alimentos, mientras que las dosis terap\u00e9uticas oscilan entre 100 y 200 g por tonelada (110 a 220 ppm).<\/p><p>Se ha demostrado que la penicilina, la eritromicina y las tetraciclinas son tambi\u00e9n eficaces, administr\u00e1ndose a una concentraci\u00f3n de 20 ppm en los alimentos.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9b6ec04 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"9b6ec04\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d9b3a50 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"d9b3a50\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-07d8f28 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"07d8f28\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"cc-m-12922816827\" class=\"j-module n j-hgrid \"><div class=\"cc-m-hgrid-column last\"><div id=\"cc-matrix-3684710127\"><div id=\"cc-m-12922817027\" class=\"j-module n j-text \"><p>Bibliogr\u00e1fica:<\/p><p>MERCK &amp; CO.
