es una enfermedad transmitida por picaduras de \u00e1caros e insectos. El germen causante es la Borrelia anserina, denominada tambi\u00e9n <em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Spirochaeta gallinarum<\/span>.<\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"cc-m-5766896411\" class=\"j-module n j-text \"><p>Las aves afectadas por espiroquetosis se muestran profundamente deca\u00eddas, pudiendo avanzar hacia un estado caqu\u00e9ctico acentuado o sucumbir en uno o dos d\u00edas en un acceso de fiebre.<\/p><p>La superaci\u00f3n de la crisis aguda en las aves determina inmunidad durante unos seis meses.<\/p><p>Borrelia. Es un g\u00e9nero de bacterias de la clase espiroqueta, de forma espiral, gramnegativa, que crece en medios sint\u00e9ticos y enriquecidos. Es un microorganismo microaer\u00f3filo. Ataca al hombre como a los animales.<\/p><p>Debido a lo poco que se sabe respecto a este germen, no hay mucho que decir, pero s\u00ed de algunas consecuencias que trae para la veterinaria y en especial en las aves.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f8f0401 animated-slow e-con-full e-flex e-con transmisi\u00f3n:<\/span><\/h3><p>Una garrapata infectada puede transmitir la enfermedad de Lyme a humanos y animales a trav\u00e9s de su picadura.<\/p><p>El riesgo de enfermar var\u00eda seg\u00fan la zona y, tras la picadura de una garrapata, este riesgo es m\u00e1s bien m\u00ednimo.<\/p><p>\u00danicamente aquellas garrapatas que permanecen en el cuerpo durante m\u00e1s de 12 horas transmiten la enfermedad.<\/p><p>El riesgo es mayor transcurridas 48 a 72 horas tras el contacto con la garrapata.<\/p><p>A menudo, las garrapatas permanecen en el cuerpo sin que la persona se d\u00e9 cuenta y muchos son infectados sin haber notado picadura alguna.<\/p><p>Debido a que las bacterias se multiplican muy lentamente, la borreliosis se desarrolla perniciosamente en varias fases. El curso evolutivo es benigno.<\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">S\u00edntomas:<\/span><\/h3><p>Un s\u00edntoma t\u00edpico que se manifiesta poco despu\u00e9s de la infecci\u00f3n es una mancha de color rojo en la zona de la picadura, m\u00e1s oscura en los bordes y del tama\u00f1o aproximado de la palma de la mano; es el llamado eritema cr\u00f3nico migratorio (ECM).<\/p><p>En el curso de semanas, meses o a\u00f1os pueden verse implicados otros \u00f3rganos (articulaciones, nervios, meninges, coraz\u00f3n, ojos, epidermis): enfermedad multiinflamatoria; es decir, afecta la piel y se propaga hacia las articulaciones y el sistema nervioso, pudiendo afectar a otros \u00f3rganos en su etapa m\u00e1s avanzada.<\/p><p>Si esta es diagnosticada y tratada en su etapa inicial con antibi\u00f3ticos, la enfermedad de Lyme es casi siempre curable; de lo contrario, el progreso de cura depender\u00e1 de la manera en que cada organismo reaccione al tratamiento.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\">S\u00edntomas t\u00edpicos de esta etapa son:<\/span><\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Erupci\u00f3n roja y circular a lo largo de la picadura.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Fiebre y escalofr\u00edos.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Fatiga.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Dolor muscular de articulaciones.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Dolor de cabeza.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Gl\u00e1ndulas inflamadas.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">Agrandamiento de n\u00f3dulos linf\u00e1ticos.<\/li><\/ul><h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Tipos de Borrelia que afectan a los animales:<\/span><\/h3><p>Dentro del g\u00e9nero Borrelia, la especie que puede afectar a los animales es la Borrelia anserina, que afecta directamente a las aves, cuyos espiroquetos afectan mayormente a las gallinas. Este tipo de Borrelia se ha detectado tambi\u00e9n en los patos, pavos y ocas.<\/p><p>En las aves, la enfermedad de espiroquetosis aviar es provocada y transmitida por la garrapata; tambi\u00e9n la transmiten otros vectores como mosquitos y \u00e1caros.
