contagiosa<\/span> predominante en aves j\u00f3venes, provocada por un Staphylococcus y facilitada por condiciones de crianza deficientes en higiene y un hacinamiento excesivo.<\/p><p>Los s\u00edntomas asociados con esta enfermedad bacteriana presentan una amplia variabilidad dependiendo de la manera en que se manifieste la infecci\u00f3n.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La forma aguda<\/span> de la infecci\u00f3n cut\u00e1nea t\u00edpicamente se presenta con fiebre alta, debilidad severa y secreciones en las alas.<\/p><p>Imagen: Inflamaci\u00f3n cr\u00f3nica en la pata Observe la diferencia entre las patas.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La forma subaguda<\/span> se identifica por la dificultad que encuentran las aves para moverse debido a la tenosinovitis, avanzando lentamente, con un paso inestable y mostrando gran variabilidad en funci\u00f3n de la gravedad en cada caso concreto.<\/p><p>En el caso de los gallos, su capacidad para aparearse adecuadamente con las gallinas se ve comprometida, lo que lleva a una disminuci\u00f3n en la fertilidad.<\/p><p>Generalmente, las aves afectadas experimentan un descenso progresivo de peso al no poder moverse con normalidad, comenzando a observarse muertes entre los diez y quince d\u00edas.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La forma cr\u00f3nica<\/span> se presenta de manera espor\u00e1dica y casi siempre en aves adultas, inici\u00e1ndose con la formaci\u00f3n de una almohadilla plantar que, en su evoluci\u00f3n cr\u00f3nica, se desarrolla hasta convertirse en una bolsa de tama\u00f1o considerable en la base del pie.<\/p><p>En ciertas ocasiones, esta bolsa plantar puede necrosarse, provocando un proceso de gangrena podal debido a la acci\u00f3n de otros organismos.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-96184e2 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"96184e2\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d99ddde e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"d99ddde\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2fb6c8c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2fb6c8c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Bibliogr\u00e1fica:<\/p><p>MERCK &amp; CO.
