del tipo \u00e1scaris en el interior del tracto digestivo, donde completa su ciclo vital.<\/p><p>Este par\u00e1sito habita en el intestino delgado de aves como pollos, pavos, gansos y otras aves silvestres, incluidos los cuervos.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Los machos<\/span> miden entre 50 y 76 mm, mientras que <span style=\"color: #000000;\">las hembras<\/span> var\u00edan de 72 a 116 mm.<\/p><p>Es un par\u00e1sito com\u00fan que completa su ciclo de vida a gran velocidad. La especie m\u00e1s prevalente es Ascaridia galli.<\/p><p>Estos \u00e1scaris, que son lombrices de considerable tama\u00f1o, pueden alcanzar entre cuatro y ocho cent\u00edmetros de longitud y tener un di\u00e1metro de 0. 1 a 0. 3 cm.<\/p><p>El ciclo de vida de estos par\u00e1sitos es directo, ya que los huevos se excretan y quedan expuestos al entorno, donde pueden convertirse en larvas infectivas si las condiciones lo permiten.<\/p><p>Cuando estos huevos son consumidos por aves, eclosionan en el intestino, liberando las larvas que, despu\u00e9s de varias mudas dentro del organismo, alcanzan su madurez en el intestino, que se convierte en su h\u00e1bitat definitivo.<\/p><p>Los \u00e1scaris poseen un mecanismo de fijaci\u00f3n que les permite adherirse a la mucosa intestinal, evitando ser desplazados por el peristaltismo, causando da\u00f1os significativos en el proceso.<\/p><p>Los huevos de estos par\u00e1sitos son extremadamente resistentes y pueden sobrevivir en condiciones adversas durante hasta tres meses.<\/p><p>La manifestaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica de la ascaridiasis es altamente variable, ya que en la mayor\u00eda de los casos se presenta sin s\u00edntomas evidentes.<\/p><p>Los s\u00edntomas dependen de la edad del ave y del n\u00famero de par\u00e1sitos en el sistema digestivo.<\/p><p>En casos agudos, pueden observarse falta de apetito, letargo, erizamiento de plumas, entre otros s\u00edntomas.<\/p><p>Se pueden presentar diarreas, algunas veces con sangre, paresia y, ocasionalmente, la expulsi\u00f3n de par\u00e1sitos en las heces.<\/p><p>Si la infestaci\u00f3n provoca perforaciones, puede surgir una peritonitis que es potencialmente mortal.<\/p><p>La presencia de \u00e1scaris en una granja requiere la implementaci\u00f3n de medidas sanitarias dr\u00e1sticas, lo que implica la realizaci\u00f3n de tratamientos sistem\u00e1ticos y peri\u00f3dicos para erradicarlos.<\/p><p>Para eliminar los \u00e1scaris, se emplean diversos medicamentos que act\u00faan como paralizantes o vermicidas.<\/p><p>El efecto paralizante provoca que las lombrices pierdan su capacidad para fijarse, siendo expulsadas gracias a las contracciones perist\u00e1lticas.<\/p><p>Por otro lado, el efecto vermicida permite la expulsi\u00f3n de los par\u00e1sitos muertos y es efectivo contra los huevos.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-98a1632 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"98a1632\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b9f13e2 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"b9f13e2\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cb0163d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"cb0163d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Bibliogr\u00e1fica:<\/p><p>MERCK &amp; CO.
