Foto: Dr. Frank Gaillard<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"cc-m-5789477411\" class=\"j-module n j-text \"><p>Tanto en pollos como en pavos, las aves resultan afectadas durante el nacimiento o en el curso de los dos primeros d\u00edas de vida en el gallinero de crianza.<\/p><p>Pasada la primera semana, las aves se hacen resistentes. Los animales afectados suelen dejar de comer y muestran s\u00edntomas de ahogo o dificultades en la respiraci\u00f3n. El organismo se puede localizar en el ojo, causando oftalmitis.<\/p><p>El primer s\u00edntoma que se nota es hinchaz\u00f3n de p\u00e1rpados, los cuales se pegan. Aun cuando en los primeros estadios la c\u00f3rnea tiene un aspecto normal, el ave llega luego a la ceguera.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\">Debajo de la membrana nictitante aparece un granuloma caseoso.<\/p><p>Al extraer este gr\u00e1nulo, puede cultivarse el organismo que produce la enfermedad. Los huevos en el suelo tambi\u00e9n, por supuesto, tienen un alto riesgo de ser contaminados.<\/p><p>Inicialmente, la infecci\u00f3n por Aspergillus se ha encontrado durante el an\u00e1lisis de rutina de huevos sin eclosionar.<\/p><p>Huevos infectados muestran un molde visible en la membrana de la c\u00e9lula de aire. El riesgo de una grave flor de Aspergillus es alto cuando el 0,5 por ciento de los huevos para incubar muestran infecci\u00f3n clara con un crecimiento visible del hongo. Adem\u00e1s, la frecuencia de los embriones que mueren aproximadamente en 16 d\u00edas es mayor de lo esperado.<\/p><h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Prevenci\u00f3n:<\/span><\/h3><p>Es la primera l\u00ednea de acci\u00f3n. Para prevenir la infecci\u00f3n por Aspergillus en la incubadora y\u00a0el gallinero, las medidas que se recomiendan son:<\/p><p>\u2014No incubar huevos en el piso.<\/p><p>\u2014No incubar huevos rotos o huevos con fisuras.<\/p><p>\u2014Evite madera, paredes, techos o superficies en la sala de incubaci\u00f3n, ya que Aspergillus crece bien en madera no tratada.<\/p><p>\u2014Analizar los huevos sin eclosionar de forma regular, y si los huevos se encuentran infectados, tomar medidas para localizar las fuentes de Aspergillus.<\/p><p>\u2014Asegurarse de que el saneamiento de incubaci\u00f3n se mantiene por completo.<\/p><p>\u2014Si los moldes se encuentran, tomar medidas inmediatas para limpiar la incubadora.<\/p><p>\u2014Asegurarse de que la incubadora est\u00e9 limpia y desinfectada, los conductos de ventilaci\u00f3n.<\/p><p>Recordar que los accesorios de incubaci\u00f3n deben estar antes libres de toda materia org\u00e1nica para proceder a la desinfecci\u00f3n.<\/p><p>No tiene ning\u00fan sentido para la desinfecci\u00f3n de los equipos, bandejas o cajas, cuando los desechos se quedan pegados a las superficies.<\/p><p>Si Aspergillus se ha encontrado en el gallinero, se recomienda lo siguiente:<\/p><ul><li>Aplicar el fungicida en un intervalo regular porque las esporas de las especies de Aspergillus son altamente resistentes a los fungicidas.<\/li><li>Cualquier espora superviviente se convertir\u00e1 en una madura que produce esporas del molde, con lo que el fungicida se debe aplicar antes de esta etapa de desarrollo.<\/li><li>Localizar y eliminar la fuente de las esporas de Aspergillus; la fuente principal, en la que se suele encontrar en las granjas reproductoras, son las cajas, nido (de madera), basura, cajas de cart\u00f3n y paredes de madera no tratada y techos.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-02ab1b9 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"02ab1b9\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-35dae81 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"35dae81\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1f54d85 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1f54d85\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Bibliogr\u00e1fica:<\/p><p>MERCK &amp; CO.
