Otras causas a las que se ha atribuido este problema son:<\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Alteraciones nerviosas.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Un bajo nivel de amino\u00e1cidos.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La raza de las aves.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Los programas de alimentaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Determinados medicamentos o coccidiostatos o deficiencia en molibdeno (Mo).<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p align=\"justify\">La dermatitis se caracteriza por costras secas en la base de los fol\u00edculos de las plumas y entre los fol\u00edculos. Las lesiones a menudo se unen para cubrir \u00e1reas amplias. La costra consiste en una masa de condensaci\u00f3n y degeneraci\u00f3n celular.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">Cuando la epidermis est\u00e1 intacta, hay poca reacci\u00f3n inflamatoria en la dermis o en el tejido subcut\u00e1neo.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">Los pollos de engorde que crecieron en el excremento del suelo o en jaulas con alta densidad de aves desarrollan lesiones cut\u00e1neas en muslo y cadera.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">La dermatitis gangrenosa es una enfermedad bacteriana grave de las aves dom\u00e9sticas, que suele ocurrir en los pollos de crecimiento r\u00e1pido entre 4 y 8 semanas de edad. Se caracteriza por un aumento repentino de la mortalidad y las lesiones en la piel, el tejido subcut\u00e1neo y los m\u00fasculos adyacentes, generalmente sobre la quilla, abdomen, muslo y las alas.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">Importante es reconocer las lesiones caracter\u00edsticas de la enfermedad. Al principio hay peque\u00f1as espinillas en la piel que pronto progresan para abarcar \u00e1reas m\u00e1s grandes.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">Hay que estar atentos a la punta de las alas cuando se ven unas \u00falceras abiertas o puntos sangrientos. Al principio, estos ser\u00e1n peque\u00f1os; la parte superior del ala se ve f\u00e1cilmente al caminar entre la bandada, indic\u00e1ndonos estas manchas que el alga no est\u00e1 bien.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">En las aves que han muerto, las lesiones consisten en zonas rojizas oscuras a violetas a \u00e1reas verdes en la piel. Se ven con m\u00e1s frecuencia en el abdomen, el pecho, las alas y las patas.<\/p><p align=\"justify\">Se crey\u00f3 durante mucho tiempo que, para que la enfermedad prosperara, ten\u00eda que haber una herida inicial en la piel, con una infecci\u00f3n bacteriana secundaria.
