espa\u00f1oles especializados en biotecnolog\u00eda ha descubierto el primer compuesto ortomolecular extra\u00eddo de la cresta de gallo capaz de multiplicar por diez la actividad de las c\u00e9lulas de las articulaciones, que mejoran su movilidad y evitan su deformaci\u00f3n.<\/p><p data-iceapw=\"22\">As\u00ed lo ha manifestado hoy el doctor Pedro Tocabens, director general m\u00e9dico de los Laboratorios Actafarma, que comercializan el compuesto en Espa\u00f1a.<\/p><p data-iceapw=\"30\">La doctora Ingrid M\u00f6ller, que ha liderado los ensayos cient\u00edficos, ha dejado claro que el producto es fruto de la investigaci\u00f3n de un equipo multidisciplinar que ha durado diez a\u00f1os.<\/p><p data-iceapw=\"25\">El compuesto estimula a las c\u00e9lulas de la membrana sinovial para fabricar \u201cun l\u00edquido sinovial correcto, con una viscosidad correcta y con una funci\u00f3n adecuada\u201d.<\/p><h3 style=\"text-align: center;\" data-iceapw=\"6\" data-iceapc=\"3\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 las crestas de gallo?<\/span><\/h3><p data-iceapw=\"29\">La doctora ha explicado que se sab\u00eda desde la antig\u00fcedad que eran ricas en mucopolisac\u00e1ridos, pero lo que no se sab\u00eda era c\u00f3mo obtener de ellas el compuesto adecuado.<\/p><p data-iceapw=\"60\" data-iceapc=\"2\">En concreto, las crestas de los gallos son una de las fuentes m\u00e1s provechosas de este compuesto, ya que tras las matanzas esta pieza se tira. En los gallos, la cresta es esencialmente una gran superficie de piel, que aumenta su concentraci\u00f3n de\u00a0<span data-iceapw=\"2\" data-iceapc=\"1\"><em data-iceapw=\"2\">\u00e1cido hialur\u00f3nico<\/em><\/span> como respuesta a la\u00a0testosterona. Las gallinas tambi\u00e9n poseen este compuesto, pero en menor medida.<\/p><h3 style=\"text-align: center;\" data-iceapw=\"28\" data-iceapc=\"4\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el \u00e1cido hialur\u00f3nico?<\/span><\/h3><p data-iceapw=\"28\" data-iceapc=\"4\">El \u00e1cido hialur\u00f3nico es un polisac\u00e1rido que forma parte de la matriz extracelular en todos los seres vivos. Luego es un producto natural.<\/p><p data-iceapw=\"45\">El \u00e1cido hialur\u00f3nico se utiliz\u00f3 la primera vez en el a\u00f1o 1942. El cient\u00edfico Endre Balazs us\u00f3 las t\u00e9cnicas de Karl Meyer para sintetizar el \u00e1cido de las crestas de gallos, zona de la cual hoy en d\u00eda a\u00fan se sigue obteniendo el \u00e1cido hialur\u00f3nico.<\/p><p data-iceapw=\"44\">Se puede encontrar especialmente en el l\u00edquido sinovial que tenemos en las articulaciones, en la epidermis y en el humor v\u00edtreo de los ojos. El problema es que el paso del tiempo y los a\u00f1os hacen que disminuyan considerablemente los niveles de esta mol\u00e9cula.<\/p><p data-iceapw=\"52\">Su presencia normal en la piel produce la absorci\u00f3n de agua y se forma como una esponja que mantiene la piel joven y sin arrugas. Con el paso del tiempo, su presencia en la piel va disminuyendo; es una de las principales causas del envejecimiento cut\u00e1neo y de la formaci\u00f3n de arrugas.<\/p><p data-iceapw=\"17\">Se suele obtener de diversos tejidos de animales; el m\u00e1s rico es la cresta de los gallos.<\/p><h3 style=\"text-align: center;\" data-iceapw=\"40\" data-iceapc=\"3\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Sus propiedades:<\/span><\/h3><p class=\"texto12n\" data-iceapw=\"40\" data-iceapc=\"3\">El \u00e1cido hialur\u00f3nico tiene el papel de aumentar el col\u00e1geno, adem\u00e1s de ser acumulador de agua y otras materias de relleno en la piel; por ello es muy \u00fatil en el tratamiento de las arrugas producidas por la edad.<\/p><p class=\"texto12n\" style=\"text-align: center;\" data-iceapw=\"40\" data-iceapc=\"3\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;
